Sampling of Reviews

The Magic of Lavender, Book One of The Goddess Connection (dark paranormal)
I have read a lot of novels. Very few of them have the same utterly charming, heartwarming quality of this novel. The Magic of Lavender is totally delightful from the very first word to the last. The characters are obviously very expertly designed, instantly sparking to life on the page. I would most definitely encourage anyone with a love of fairies or lavender plants read this novel.
Night Owl Reviews - Top Pick

The Magic of Lavender is a lovely paranormal romance that taps into everyone’s love of magic and soul mates. Cate’s writing is sensuous and inspiring, and the flow of the plot becomes so smooth that you cannot wait to find out how the story ends, and whether Eric and Jocelyn are truly meant for each other.
This read is fast and fun, and inspires one with a feeling of the possibility of love.

Dancing With the Devil, Book Two of The Goddess Connection (dark paranormal)
Dancing With the Devil is a fun, spunky romance with a devilish side. If you are looking for an entertaining feel-good story with some steam added to the mix, Dancing With the Devil is a great romance to add to your to be read list.
Sizzling Hot Book Reviews - 4 hearts

Cate Masters sure knows how to weave a myth to life. Heaven and hell left me grinning more than once at the clever setting. The details based on Greek myths will please any history buff. The powerful romance will satisfy any one who loves a great love story. Suspense readers have to enjoy the spin on a Harley, as well as flaming hot rides beneath a hideous yet curiously likeable demon. And the Devil! Well, you'll just have to read to learn how interesting that dude is.

Surfacing (fantasy)
Ms. Masters’ writing style is smooth and effortless in Surfacing, providing a comfortable and enjoyable read. I found myself drawn to her characters and their world almost immediately, and within a few pages I became completely lost in the story.
Surfacing is a delightful, entertaining, and touching read that will have readers rooting for the young hero and hoping that somehow fairytales can come true. This is more than a romance: it is a coming-of-age story that will linger in my memory. I truly enjoyed every page.

Rock Bottom (contemporary)
I was captivated by this story just from its blurb. I am a very big music fan and did watch Rock of Love so I found it very interesting to see how an author could make a story from that concept. And Cate Masters did it perfectly! One of the things I am very fond of when I read is the imagery authors try to portrait and Cate does it beautifully.
Anyone who grew up in the 80’s will appreciate the music references in this book as well, had be nodding my head yes in more than one occasion.

Angels, Sinners and Madmen (historical)
Looking for a book with a smart and feisty heroine? That’s what you get in Angels, Sinners and Madmen. The hero Sam is cocky yet honest as well as strong and caring after you get to know him. The banter between Livvie and Sam creates sparks. Friendship moves to more as the story progresses. These two have a wonderful relationship that is tender yet exciting. The chemistry is all there. I enjoyed this story from the start to the finish.

I loved it and applaud Cate for creating a time in the past that seems so real in this book. It was enchanting!

The Bridge Between (mainstream)
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good romance. Even though it's over 400 pages long, it is a pretty fast and easy read. one you will enjoy!

The Bridge Between is not what I expected. However, it was certainly worth reading. Not “fluff” reading in any way so be sure you have some time to devote to the story, and to enjoy the writing.
